Emergency Treatments
Please be aware that there are fees for this emergency service.
Depending upon the circumstances there may be a charge for telephone advice and you will be advised in the call if this applies.
If you need to see a dentist, call out and initial assessment costs will start from £290 for registered patients who have attended within the last twelve months and £340 for other patients.
Fees are payable at the time of attendance. Further costs will depend on treatment needs and will be discussed prior to treatment.
If you have dental swelling affecting your breathing, then you should attend the Hospital Emergency Department immediately.
If you have a serious dental emergency such as:
- Trauma, such as breaking a tooth through an accident or sport.
- Uncontrolled bleeding following tooth extraction.
- Swelling that is causing difficulty swallowing or eye closure.
- Severe dental pain not controlled by over-the-counter pain relief medication.
